Report on the Eleventh Chapter of Daniel
(Exegesis which clearly establishes that the "King" of Dan. 11:36-39,
and consequently of verses 40-45, is the Papacy)

“A little [or no] knowledge is a dangerous thing.”  In this instance, it is about the play and counterplay of spiritual forces in the Great Controversy of this world from Eden to Armageddon.

George Bush, with ill-conceived zeal, worked to destroy the wall of separation between Church and State, and he thereby set up the Image to the Beast of Rev. 13.  He gave incipient life to the Image.  Now Barack Obama, with an apparently sincere commitment to the separation of Church and State, is so devoted to the superficial social gospel of modern Christianity that he will unwittingly nurture the embryonic life of the Image and hasten the fulfillment of the ultimate prophecies of Daniel and the Revelation.  Tony Blair appears to be the prophetic link between Bush and Obama.  He is the special emissary of the Church of Rome.  See:

Isaiah 2:2-3 - And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.  (The prophecy is in the entire chapter; and it is eschatological.)

Isaiah 14:12-14 - How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Rev. 17:7-14 - And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Rev. 16:13-16 ^- And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
